This was my very first experience with this office, and I’m very glad I came here. I had a confusing toothache and wasn’t sure which tooth was actually causing the problem because there weren’t any obvious signs. Dr. Mojarad was very thorough in figuring it out. She took the time to do hot and cold tests, compare the results with the teeth around it, perform tapping and bite tests, and review the imaging before determining that I had irreversible pulpitis and identifying the tooth that needed treatment. What really stood out to me was how caring she was throughout the whole process. She explained what she was doing, told me what to expect, and regularly checked to make sure I was comfortable and not experiencing any pain. I never felt rushed, and I felt that she genuinely cared about getting the diagnosis right and making sure I was comfortable. I really appreciated her knowledge, attention to detail, and the way she communicated with me. I felt confident that I was in good hands. I have nothing but praise for Dr. Palmieri. He was able to save a tooth that had a root canal and crown done in 1997. In May/June of 2026 the tooth in question started feeling bad. He confirmed the tooth could be retreated with a new root canal and he also removed the infection. He works hard at his craft and provides excellent bed-side manner to level concerns. I recently visited this dental office and had a truly mixed experience. On the positive side, the dentist and his assistant were patient, kind, and helped ease my anxiety—something I really appreciated. Unfortunately, the visit was completely soured by the billing staff, particularly a woman named Jaime. Her attitude was incredibly off-putting—elitist, condescending, and completely lacking in empathy. When I explained that I couldn’t afford the $3,000 sedation option, she was dismissive and refused to offer any details about more affordable alternatives. Her tone and demeanor made me feel ashamed for even asking, as though my financial concerns made me less worthy of care. I left feeling humiliated, and I will not be returning. Dental care should be compassionate from start to finish—not just in the chair.

Dr Palmieri’s dental practice is one of the best I have received services from, I’m 76 and have a lifetime of past dental experiences. After getting dental services from the Hinkle dental practice in McLean on a July 2023 morning, I needed a root canal before future dental work could be completed. Dr Hinkle recommended Dr. Palmieri. On the rare chance that I could be fitted in to that day’s schedule, I called the Palmieri practice. I was offered a late same- day appointment. I took it, and then experienced a very carefully performed root canal. My procedure had a complication that required a telephone consultation with Dr. Hinkle. As a result, Dr Palmieri performed extra work to my significant benefit. Both Dr Palmieri and his dental assistant Stacy were friendly, informative, and patient for my particular situation. Dr. Palmieri called me that night to be sure I was dealing with possible pain. I believe endodontics can be an one-time, important-to-urgent need, so the choice is key. This practice is excellent. Dr. Palmieri went over the post surgery X-rays with me and explained what he did and why. I was given explicit and clear post-surgery instructions, and all my questions were thoroughly answered. It's two days post surgery and I have no pain and am not taking any medicine except the antibiotics. I highly recommend Dr. Palmieri.

Dr Palmieri has done both of my root canals. The first one was two years ago and I had a great experience. He and the staff were very thorough, professional and friendly. He called that evening to make sure I felt okay. The second root canal was just done recently. I had moved out of the area and my new dentist referred me to an endodontist in my new city. He told me I had a cracked tooth and needed an extraction. Because I trusted Dr Palmieri and because I wanted to save my tooth if possible, I drove two hours back to the DC area for him to look at my case. He said the tooth was not cracked and a root canal could be performed. I then returned to the DC area a few weeks later and he performed the procedure. Same great experience as the first time. I am very grateful for Dr Palmieri’s expertise and the high quality of the practice.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Palmieri to perform a root canal treatment recommended by my regular dentist. Dr. Palmieri was recommended to me by a good and trusted friend. Making the appointment was an easy process and the appointment was scheduled very quickly. The last time I had a root canal treatment I was around 19 years old (I'm now 88!). At the scheduled appointment all of the staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I have a mobility problem and arrived at the office driving my electric scooter. This was a small problem handled by the staff without difficulty. Then I met Dr. Palmieri, and was immediately impressed with his manner. He immediately calmed all my fears and proceeded with the necessary treatment. All went well....no problems. Dr. Palmieri mentioned that he would call me later that evening to make certain that I was okay. I was very pleasantly surprised when he did call. The procedure was a complete success. It was performed five days ago, and I am totally pain free. I am very grateful that my friend sent me to him.

I have to have nitrous oxide for such procedures, and Dr. Palmeiri and his assistants were kind and understanding. I had an existing infection prior to the second and third procedures. When showing me the root canal exposures, he showed me where the related infections were as well, and he ensured that they were dealt with effectively. I had no pain following the procedures other than at the the numbing injection sites. I most highly recommend Dr. Palmeiri.
